Paula Roberts, who has made her home in NYC since 1978, developed her powers of clairvoyance and mediumship while living in London.

She attended development classes at the British Spiritualist Association where it quickly became apparent that she was a natural medium. It was during this time that she was given her first deck of Tarot cards and began experimenting with giving readings. She also took classes at the American Franklin School (London) where she studied graphology (handwriting analysis) with Patricia Marne (the renowned criminal graphologist).

Upon arriving in New York, Paula continued her work with clients and has built a large, international following. Despite extensive press coverage, her clients know that they can rely upon her strict code of confidentiality.

From 1985 until 1997, Paula had her own live, call-in public access TV show. In June 2008 she returned to the air and can now be seen on Mondays at 7.00pm on Time Warner Channel 57 (in Manhattan). Her show ' The English Psychic' can also be viewed on your computer anywhere in real time, on www.MNN.org (and then clicking on Channel 57).

Since December 1988 until the present day,Paula's predictions have been featured in Cindy Adams' column in the New York Post.

In 1988, the TV program 'Unsolved Mysteries' filmed her ghost-hunting at the General Wayne Inn, Pa. This program continues to be shown regularly on various cable stations.

In 1994 she produced her VHS video 'Foretelling the Future, Learn the Tarot with Paula Roberts'. Also in 1994, she had the honor of being chosen as the official medium for the '68th Annual Official Houdini Seance'. This was shown on CNN and also featured in a documentary 'They Came to See Him Die' which Discover Channel aired in 1997.

She  published her book 'Love Letters, the Romantic Secrets Hidden in Your Handwriting' in January 2002. This book is in the process of being converted into an ebook.

2002 also saw the debut of the collaberative work 'Art After Death' shown at the Whitney Museum's Biennial Show. For this she channelled impressions of the American Surreal artist, Joseph Cornell. A CD of this work was produced which has been broadcast internationally.

In January 2009, Paula was appointed the Psychic Consultant to the Broadway revival of 'Blithe Spirit' with Angela Lansbury and Rupert Everett.

Constantly exploring the many facets of her field, Paula has worked in such diverse areas as remote viewing, astrology and, her personal favorite, ghost-hunting. In experiments conducted in supposedly haunted sites, she prefers to work with a parapsychologist under the strictest scientific control. Her work has been seen on several TV shows and is documented in the 'Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research'.

She has been credited (by an eminent parapsychologist) with having sensitivity considerably beyond chance or average e.s.p., in fact, as having 'super psi' (an ability to reach back in time to access other people's experiences).

In October 2011 she recorded a lecture for Ustream/Learning Annex (please see 'Lecture' page for link) on 'What Can You Expect from a Psychic Reading?'  She also recorded 'Ghostbusters, Are They Real' with Karl Petry which can also be found on the www.Ustream.TV/Psychics link.
